After the new rules for hand baggage introduced at the beginning of this year, and which included free hand luggage on board only for travelers who had purchased priority boarding, but which nevertheless guaranteed to all other passengers the free transport of hand luggage in the hold, from November 2018 everything changes again. Ryanair carry-on baggage can no longer be carried on board for free, but only for a fee.

Only a small bag with a maximum size of 40x20x25 cm can be brought on board for free, to be stored under the front passenger seat. To have on board the trolley (or second hand baggage), you will have to pay at least 6 euros (each way), or buy the priority boarding, with a minimum cost of 6 euros each way.
