THE WORKSHOP

On Monday, July 3rd the workshop Move Your Dream by Roncato will be launched: this is a multidisciplinary initiative that combines business, design and strategy, and is a collaboration between Valigeria Roncato Spa, the strategic innovation expert professor Carlo Bagnoli, the designer and researcher Maddalena Mometti, the sociologist Gian Paolo Lazzer and Sabrina Arcaro, an active researcher in the field of business strategy. From July 3rd to 7th, nine young creatives selected on the basis of their resume and portfolio will meet for a five-day intensive design session headed by designer Magdalene Maleki, on the island of San Servolo, Venice, housed at the facilities of Venice International University. Participants will have the opportunity to work on designing the suitcase of the future and renewing communication in the luggage sector, exploring the experience of an Unconventional Design Workshop — a design laboratory where the mixing of different disciplines is the guiding principle. During the lessons, a number of insights arising from the analysis of the strategy and corporate identity will be provided, starting from the opportunities offered by the new technologies applicable in Roncato and the consumer analysis carried out through ethnographic techniques. The whole workshop will be followed by Valigeria Roncato, which will develop a storytelling of the event through their social networks.
